We'll get you there through the Northern rail strikes

Three more days of strikes are taking place across the Northern Rail network on Monday 8, Wednesday 10 and Friday 12 January.

Northern services will likely not start until after 7am on the day of the strike, and most trains will stop running before 7pm. There will be fewer trains running between Leeds, York and the coast on Monday, and those which do run are expected to be extremely busy.

But there's no need to worry! Now is the perfect time to try Coastliner or Cityzap to get you there. Buses run every 15 minutes during the day between Leeds and York, with fast buses on Cityzap zapping non-stop along the motorway - just like you would in your car.

A day return between Leeds and York on Coastliner and Cityzap costs just £9, and you'll find free WiFi, at-seat USB chargers and more on board. That's cheaper than parking, cheaper than the train and with added comfort and productivity.

And if you like what you see and want to make the switch full-time, don't forget that you can ride all week on Coastliner, Cityzap and any of our other buses across Yorkshire and Lancashire for just £34! Buy from your driver or download our amazing new app, Transdev Go, from the App Store and Google Play store.
