Great news for York College students affected by the collapse of Stephensons!
There's great news for jobs and bus passengers in Malton, York and the wider county of North Yorkshire today, with the news that we have been awarded new contracts to replace services formerly run by a collapsed bus firm.

From Monday 22 January, we've taken over routes 29 and 31/31X serving Helmsley, Easingwold and York to the same timetable as currently run by Stephensons. We also took over the 194 (Malton - Hovingham) from 26 January.
We've found that the Lendal Arch Gyratory works isn't having as much of an impact on traffic as we expected, so we're going back to our usual route earlier than planned.
They're digging up the roads in a number of places in and around York throughout January and February. Lots of the work is taking place around the city centre, affecting all of our Coastliner, Cityzap and other buses throughout the daytime.
